Enerscan’s Cable Restraint Insulator enables holding conductors (including HUGE diameter conductors) captive on a pole, in Unistrut or on any flat or curved surface. This enables an installation to look neat and tidy and facilitates repairs or maintenance should they be needed. The bottom half is easily secured in place by bolts or lag screws. Two retaining pins twist to enable the top half to be removed so conductors can be held in place, captive, by the top half once it is replaced and the pins are twisted. Interference fitting between the pins and the top and bottom facilitate keeping the pins in place though a cable tie through the hole in the end of each pin is recommended, to ensure the pins do not twist following the installation.
Application: Used to fix piping into place. Available in several sizes.
Application: Used to fasten conduit to poles or structures.
Application: Used to protect utility poles. Works by covering the end grain to prevent water and bird droppings from saturating and rotting the wood.
Application: Used as a spacer for triplex and quadruplex. Also used as a standoff spreader bracket for service take-offs. Components meet CSA standards.
Application: For use in open wire secondary systems as a spreader or for mid span taps.
